Before extinguishing your candle, liquified wax should reach most of the circumference of your candle, if possible. Make sure your decorative candles are placed away from other objects on a safe, heat-proof surface. Always practice basic rules of fire safety. Discontinue burning when ½” wax remains at the bottom of the glass candle jars to protect surfaces from heat exposure.
